At the heart of our initiatives lies Project Gargi—a beacon of hope for bright, ambitious girls from Kendriya Vidyalayas. Believing that financial hardship should never limit potential, the project offers a strong support system for meritorious yet economically disadvantaged students. A joint committee from the school and CAHHF selects five deserving students from each school shift annually, based on academic excellence and financial need.
Each student receives a monthly scholarship of ₹600 (disbursed quarterly), along with an annual ₹800 contribution towards a contingency fund to handle unforeseen challenges.
Beyond financial aid, Project Gargi thrives on the generosity of individual donors, who contribute ₹8,000 annually and build meaningful, one-on-one bonds with the students they support. This support often includes mentorship and guidance through Class 12, with many donors choosing to offer additional aid—amplifying the impact of education and empowerment.

Celebrating Milestones
Commencing as a pilot project in two Kendriya Vidyalayas - KV Gomti Nagar, Lucknow, and KV Memora, Lucknow - our fervent dedication saw us achieve our goals within a mere week. Building upon our success, we were also able to extend our support to 70 deserving students across ten Kendriya Vidyalayas in Lucknow, spanning academic sessions from 2022-23 to 2023-24, a testament to our unwavering commitment. Diversifying our efforts, we are poised to introduce additional support systems, including orientation courses, career counselling, and assistance with educational materials. With unwavering determination, we aim to traverse beyond the confines of Lucknow Region, extending our support to Kendriya Vidyalayas across the length and breadth of our nation.
